Preserve the original
Keep the source file, useful project files and original publication URL.
Capture the suspected copy
Record the exact target URL, account or website name, screenshots, capture time, captions or credits, and every relevant location where the material appears.
Keep platform correspondence
Save confirmation emails, case references, requests for more information, counter-notices and appeal decisions.
Evidence does not automatically prove infringement. Licences, exceptions, ownership disputes and platform-specific rules can affect the outcome.
