Why verification matters
Enforcement can affect another person's content or account. A careful workflow therefore asks for an ownership basis before a protected asset moves into enforcement.
Useful context can include creation, company ownership, client authorization, licences or assignments.
Verification is not necessarily a final legal determination of ownership. It is a review of whether the submitted basis is sufficient for a particular workflow.
